In short:
Cricket Tasmania and Cricket Australia have co-written a letter to the Tasmanian government expressing “significant concerns” about the current roof design on the proposed Macquarie Point stadium.
The letter asks for the government “to consider a stadium design option that does not have a roof, or that has an operable roof”.
What’s next?
The letter reiterates both groups “remain committed to and supportive of the stadium project, and wish to see it progress”. The stadium is currently midway through a planning assessment as a Project of State Significance, which is due to finish in September.
I can’t keep up with the ineptitude. This is getting funny now
