Hobart council staff have briefed councillors that a planned two-storey underground car park at Macquarie Point stadium is no longer included in the scope of the project.
Access to the 374-space car park was previously planned to be via a bus plaza, but latest designs for the northern access road do not include a way to get into the car park.
What’s next?
Macquarie Point Development Corporation says it remains confident that access to the car park can still be provided as part of the stadium development.
