Tasmania is headed for $13 billion worth of debt by 2028, the state’s Treasury Department has found.

The position, which is $3 billion worse than predicted in last month’s budget, requires “immediate and sustained action,” according to the Treasury Department’s Pre-Election Financial Outlook.
