Labor leader Dean Winter has provided unequivocal support for the proposed Macquarie Point stadium and enabling legislation to get it approved through parliament.
The party had committed to supporting the legislation before the state election was called, but has raised concerns about a “disgraceful” consultation process, and issues around engineering and traffic management.
